About ManuscriptAI

Paste a title and abstract, or upload a manuscript, and ManuscriptAI predicts the probability of publication at 90 days, 180 days, 1 year and 2 years, along with a median time to publication.

It recommends journals by topical and personalized fit, and highlights the words in the abstract that push toward or against publication. The model is currently tuned for neuroscience preprints.

Inputs: Title, abstract, optional full text or .docx, number of authors, country, preprint server, submission date, and optionally institution tier, figures, tables, references and funding.
Outputs: Cumulative publication probability curve, median time to publication, journal matches and word-level SHAP.
Model: Gradient-boosted survival analysis (GBSA).
