About the WEB occlusion model

The Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device treats wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms from inside the sac. This tool predicts the 6-month angiographic result on the BOSS scale (grades 0 to 4) and the probability of adequate occlusion, from the aneurysm's geometry and the WEB size chosen.

It also computes aneurysm volume, WEB volume, average neck and the WEB-to-aneurysm volume ratio, and lists which features push the prediction toward or away from adequate occlusion.

Predicts: 6-month BOSS grade and probability of adequate occlusion.
Inputs: Age, sex, circulation and location, maximum diameter, height, width, two orthogonal neck measurements (mm), WEB diameter and length, rupture status and device shape (SL or SLS).
Outputs: Probability across BOSS grades, auto-computed volumes and ratios, and clinical risk drivers.
Data: Trained on synthetic data generated from 78 real patients.
